Genevieve Mougey

Genevieve Mougey is the Director of the Office of Social Concerns for the Archdiocese of Washington.  She has worked in Justice and Peace ministries in different facets for the past 11 years for a variety of different national Catholic and Christian organizations.  She also worked in parish and campus ministry for 6 years previous.

Genevieve has sat on boards for the American Society of Missiology, the Board of Regents for the School of Theology at St. John’s, was a convening host of Directors of International Groups for Mission Sending organizations, on different Anti-Racism task forces.  In addition, Genevieve has presented on different topics around the intersection of work with the church and justice initiatives for over a decade.  Previous to the Archdiocese of Washington, Genevieve was the Senior National Associate for Roman Catholic Engagement at Bread for the World.

Genevieve serves Episcopal Region IV covering the states of Delaware, Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia, and the District of Columbia.
