Who attends the SASI?
Catholic social justice leaders who want to learn more about Catholic social teaching, apply it to the "signs of the times" and learn skills to be more effective in the public arena, all within the context of prayer, liturgy, and a Catholic spirituality of social justice. A supportive and challenging community of peers helps all participants grow.
What "track" should I sign up for?
It depends on whether you are a parish or diocesan leader and what kind of formation and training you seek. During the first two days, parish leaders and new diocesan and national organization leaders should attend Track I. Diocesan and other leaders who have previously attended SASI should attend Track II.
Can I sign up for one workshop or one day?
The SASI is designed to be a complete four-day experience. However, for those who have difficulty attending the entire time, there is the option of attending for only the main track (Mon. & Tues.) or day of workshops (Weds.).
Can I sponsor a SASI social or attendee?

Priority will be given to diocesan staff who apply for scholarships assistance with another key leader from their diocese who will work together with the diocesan staff in the coming year. Key leaders might include a director of respect life or global mission, a key commission member, volunteer, or key parish social minister.
