Full-Time Coordinator, Roundtable Association of Catholic Diocesan Social Action Directors
The Coordinator is the staff person who implements the Roundtable's mission of providing professional support to members through education, formation, professional relationships, and management development. S/he will:
- Assist the board in planning, funding and implementing the Annual Symposium and the Social Action Summer Institute, as well as serve on planning committee for the Social Ministry Gathering.
- Ensure that the Roundtable is responsive to the needs of diocesan social action directors through services, networking, training and other means.
- Staff and coordinate the working committees of the Roundtable Board of Directors.
- Promote and coordinate the Virtual Roundtable.
- Actively outreach to ministers and organizations engaged in restorative justice/prison ministry, Latino/Hispanic, and multicultural ministries to build relationships, share resources, and create deeper national collaborative training and advocacy opportunities.
- Promote and coordinate Roundtable communications, including the Virtual Roundtable, blog and quarterly web-based issues of the Roundtable Report, while maintaining vibrant website.
- Collect dues from members, maintain a budget, and report to the Board.
- Actively seek additional financial support from grant sources.
- Stay current on Catholic Social Teaching and disseminate new documents and information to members.

Justice for Immigrants Coordinator, Diocese of San Bernardino
This position within the Office of Social Concerns coordinates activities within the Diocese of San Bernardino that address the three goals of the USCCB Justice for Immigrants Campaign: Formation, Advocacy and Service.
Primary Areas of Responsibility
- Offer ongoing formation of Catholic parishioners on the principles of Catholic Social Teaching as they apply to immigration.
- Advocate for both immigration reform and immigrant-friendly laws and policies on local, state and national levels.
- Coordinate service to the immigrant community including education, community resources and legal information.
- Actively participate in the Justice for Immigrants Coalition of the Inland Southern California and their events and mission.

Director, Partner Training & Engagement, U.S. Operations, Catholic Relief Services
The Director of the Partner Engagement & Training unit (PTE) leads the effort to identify and build/ maintain relationships with national Catholic organizations in the U.S. and, in collaboration with regional offices, with regional and diocesan organizations. The unit will focus on key audience segments that have a shared interest in building effective engagement in global solidarity through CRS in Catholic dioceses, parishes, schools and other Catholic institutions. The unit:
- Works with regional offices to support partner organizations through relationship-building and capacity-building,
- Works with other departments to facilitate development of resources and programs for partner organizations' use in their social ministries
- Collaborates with other departments and regional offices within US Operations to further efforts to reach out to, educate, and engage constituents at the parish, diocese and national level.
Scope of Responsibilities:
1. Supports leaders of teams focused on Clergy/Religious, Youth/Education, College/Young Adult, Diversity, and Capacity-Building/National Partnerships to build and strengthen relationships with, and develop resources for key partners in each segment based on that segment's particular needs and priorities.
2. Working closely with Region Directors and the Capacity-Building team, provides overall leadership of the CRS capacity-building initiative and strengthens the capacity of regional staff to build and strengthen the capacity of national and diocesan social ministry partners to engage parishes in global solidarity through CRS
3. Conducts capacity-building seminars, trainings, and workshops for key partners in collaboration with regional staff and/or the Capacity-Building team.
4. Provides leadership and support to the Diversity team/Cross Divisional Team to move the division's commitment to and capacity for outreach to the Hispanic community forward, as well as outreach to other diverse/cultural groups.
5. Provides leadership, management and coaching to the PTE team; provides leadership to Cross-Divisional teams, as assigned, and collaborates effectively with peer directors to provide leadership for the US Operations division.
6. Leads PTE's development of annual program plans and multi-year strategies, including plans for monitoring and evaluation and program improvement; contributes to the development of departmental, divisional, and agency strategies as appropriate.
7. Develops and manages annual unit budget to ensure that resources are invested effectively and accounted for in a timely and accurate fashion.
Key Working Relationships:
Internal: U.S. Operations senior leadership, including department, regional and senior directors; Agency department heads and senior directors; country representatives and overseas regional staff.

Director for Office of Life, Justice, and Peace, Archdiocese of San Antonio
Responsibilities include: promoting the Gospel Message of Social Teaching of the Church with parishes of the Archdiocese and to individuals and organizations of the Catholic and wider community, providing leadership, planning and vision of priorities, educational and formation presentations, leadership development, advocacy and public policy education at local/state/national level.

Materials Development Specialist, US Ops, Catholic Relief Services
Serve as internal resource for U.S. Operations by writing, editing, and/or coordinating the production of print and online resources for Catholic organizations and institutions in the US. These resources will be used to inform and mobilize Catholic audiences about global poverty, major disasters overseas, CRS' short term emergency response and longer term development work and their relationship to Catholic social teaching. A key aspect of the role will be adapting existing resources using non-technical, faith-oriented language so that materials can be effectively used by CRS priority audiences, especially Catholic parish groups, Catholic Universities, Catholic High Schools, priests and deacons, and individual Catholics. This position will serve as a resource person for other CRS staff to help them shape resources for Catholic audiences.
Specific Responsibilities:
1. Emergency Response Resources:
- Serve as the point person for coordinating with respective CRS units the writing, editing and production of audience-specific (Catholic parish, High School, university) online and print resources to inform and mobilize Catholic in the US in response to major international emergencies.
- Coordinate with other units (Constituency Relations and Support, Communications, etc.) to produce and/or edit rapid-response online resources for use by US partners (dioceses, parishes, etc.)
- Serve as a resource person on various Emergency Response Working Groups as assigned.
2. CRS Priority Issue Resources:
- Write, edit, and coordinate the production of resources that address CRS priority issues, especially those areas not covered by existing CRS program resources (examples include peace building, Orphans and Vulnerable Children, Water issues, Climate Change, etc.)
- Serve as liaison to Program Quality and Support Department editorial/publications team to identify existing publications to be adapted and/or re-purposed for use by USOps for specific audiences. Develop a database and ongoing relationships with a pool of outside writers/editors who can quickly produce materials as needed.
3. Audience Specific Resources:
- Coordinate with existing teams within US Operations - especially the university, youth and parish cross divisional teams and Constituency Relations and Support Unit on needs assessments and development of audience specific materials and resources.
- Adapt and re-purpose existing resources and create templates for audience specific applications and events.
4. Resource Referrals:
- Serve as a resource to other staff in shaping resources for Catholic audiences.
- Work with all other materials producing units to inventory the full array of existing CRS resources and develop a communications process to be made aware of new materials.
- Coordinate with the US Operations Web Producer/Editor to help CRS regional and HQ staff locate appropriate print and online resources upon request.
Qualifications:
1. BA/BS in Communications, Education or related field with an advanced degree in Catholic Theology/Ministry is an ideal combination. (However, other relevant education/experience that combines writing skills with Catholic theology or ministry will be considered.)
2. Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Catholic ministry.
3. Experience in creating educational/faith formation resources for use by Catholic parishes.
4. Exceptional writing, editing and organizational skills.
5. Well organized and skilled at using online resources.
6. Deep interest and commitment to the global mission of CRS.
7. Solid working knowledge of Catholic Social Teaching and US Catholic Church structures.

Diocese of Winona - Parish Social Ministry Coordinator
Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Winona, Minnesota has an immediate opening for a Parish Social Ministry Coordinator in its Worthington office. The PSM Coordinator helps Catholic parishes in the six-county Worthington deanery respond to local community needs and work for social justice.

Diocese of Green Bay - Living Justice Director
The full-time position of Living Justice Director will promote, guide, and direct diocesan efforts regarding the social teachings of the Catholic Church by fostering activities and projects that are consistent with Catholic teaching. They will serve as the Diocesan spokesperson on issues related to justice and human dignity and help the diocese to collaborate with other groups in order to accomplish common projects that are of great need in our area. This individual will supervise the Living Justice Department Staff to include the Dignity of Human Life Coordinator, the Family and Married Life Coordinator, and the Catholic Social Justice Coordinator.
This position requires an individual to possess a Master's degree in theology or a related field, have a minimum of five years' experience in parish or diocesan office work, be a practicing Catholic and a member in good standing of a Catholic parish, have a full knowledge of Catholic social teaching as interpreted by the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops and be able to implement these teachings within the diocese. The Living Justice Director must have a strong familiarity with political and government systems, the legislative process, lobbying techniques and also possess a valid driver's license. It is preferred that the person be fluent in Spanish as well as English.

Diocese of Green Bay - Dignity of Human Life Coordinator
This part-time (20 hr per week) benefit eligible position is responsible for coordinating diocesan and parish endeavors that promote respect for the dignity of the human person. The Coordinator works under the direction of the Director of Living Justice within the context of Evangelization to develop programs in accord with the USCCB Plan for Pro-Life activities and the specific needs of the diocese. Under the supervision of the Living Justice Director, the Coordinator develops, administers, and promotes the Diocese's Respect for Life Program with its four major components which include: Education and Information, Pastoral Care, Advocacy and Public Policy Activities, and Prayer and Worship.
Position requires a Bachelor's degree in theology or related field and three or more years of experience preferred. Knowledge of Catholic social and moral teachings that impact Human Dignity, especially regarding abortion, euthanasia, pornography, contraception, violence, capital punishment, palliative care for the chronically ill and dying, and the consistent ethic of life is required. Also required is familiarity with significant Church documents, especially the USCCB Plan for Pro-Life Activities: A Campaign in Support of Life and Pope John Paul's The Gospel of Life; and familiarity with pertinent local and national legislative issues that impact human dignity, especially the constitutional amendment to protect human life. Individuals considered must be a practicing Catholic and a member in good standing of a Catholic parish. It is preferred that person be fluent in Spanish as well as English.
